User Name Remember Me? Anyone using Drumagog 5 with Reaper?
Drumagog tips please!
Is so is anyone using it to trigger Steven Slates Drums 4, Superior 2 etc? On the Drumagog forum I was reading where it says the following: Originally Posted by luiso. It will detect ghost notes, flams, rolls, ignore bleed using the bleed suppression feature – no false triggers.
It also aligns samples to be drumaogg close to in-phase as possible with the source material. Multi-velocity, muli-layer samples with round robin. Comes with an editor so you can make your own multi velocity samples. It’s not cheap, but there’s nothing that even comes close.

Slate trigger is much better than the versions of Drummagog I have used, which is everything up to version 4. I can’t speak for version 5, but given the ease of use, excellent performance and the fact it comes with some very useful samples, I can’t imagine why anyone would need anything srumagog than what Trigger offers.
I think there’s a demo if you wanted to try it out, and it’s worth a full read through of the manual too. I have the following wav files on these tracks.
Tom 1 Track 5. Tom 2 Track 6. Thanks for your help! Sorry for the delayed answer but Drukagog have been working a lot this weekend Now to the thing I prefer the first because I want to have the original at hand to blend it with the sample to achieve a more “REAL” sound I attached some basic setting that Manuao use, but I’m still polishing those Last edited by luiso; at Last edited by SEA; at Also use the JS: IX-KeyMap plugin to change notes mappingsfor instance to go drimagog General MIDI to Superior Drummer, or Addictive Drums to Battery, and many more stuff, i don’t work with MIDI much but I’ve read about it and tried basic settings to straight up some inconsistent performances in live recordings that were given to me for mixing and mastering.
If you want to go further you can record the output of the track MIDI to edit the performance in MIDI if necessary, is an audio to midi converter, cool eh I saw that you have a HiHat on the list I didn’t noticed, It can be done, but it is difficult to trigger HiHats properly, if the drums are SO BAD that manyal HH is to be replaced, go and record the drums again or even program the drums, because at drrumagog end you spend MUCH MORE time fixing a poor recording than programming a good one from scratch, at least that’s what i tend to do Thanks luiso for all your help!
I’ll see if Manul can get everything working good on this end. So far things are going well.
The hats and the cymbals I may just manual cut myself on top of what this drummer did since manuwl only used 1 overhead mic to cut cymbals in mono and the and another mic to cut overhead snare that captures the hat, some rides and crashes etc. Lots of bleed over. Sorry for the delay, lots of work this weekend, I get what you mean and you are right, ReaGate does not trigger velocity changes, but for what I do that is SUPPORT the real sounds with samples is perfect, because I durmagog it on the snare for example and then I create a new track and make a send to it, set the new to record output midi and this way I get a midi track that I can edit the dtumagog I want and the original with the real performance, if you want to trigger velocity changes use the “JS: Grande la Argentina este mundial Looks like an advanced version of what ReaGate does.
Hope it will drumaog just as good as it looks Gracias again y vamos Argentina!

Dynamic split is the key. Use dynamic split to trigger midi drums. I can’t watch the video because my connection is too slow in my country, but I know what you mean, so i tried your method and it rules!!! A great thing about dynamics split is that you don’t have to run the create chromatic scale when you split, Just Like with the toms i split them by hand and then ran the action create chromatic midi from slices.
With the snare dynamic split will probably miss a few hits on a fill. Choose dynamic split without create chromatic scale then do manual splits on whatever it missed.
Then run create chromatic midi scale. All times are GMT The time now is By The Sea Posts: Choose a MIDI note and channel. Create a new MIDI or instrument track.
